Seminar on "Implementation of International Experience in the Educational Process"

On October 15, 2024, Almaty College of Service and Technology hosted a seminar for employees of Almaty colleges titled "Implementation of International Experience in the Educational Process".

Seminar objective:

To summarize the results of the international internship program and discuss strategies for modernizing the educational process.

Key discussion areas:

• Rebranding the educational process and introducing new approaches to group work;

• Improving English language training and enhancing dual education programs.

Main outcomes:

1. Education quality and employment rates improved by introducing Frontend and Backend specializations in "Software Engineering".

2. In the "Clothing Design" program, a project for creating a high-quality fashion collection was implemented, using moodboards and sketchbooks.

3. Internal college competitions were introduced following WorldSkills standards.

4. All educational programs were aligned with WorldSkills requirements.

5. The "Student Hub" website was launched, and the "JASSTARS" club was created within the project "From Student to Professional" in the "Tourism" field.

Experts highly praised the work of the college's teaching staff. We are confident that all initiatives will be successfully implemented.
